Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson was a great and prolific writer.  She was also extremely introverted and a recluse.  Today she would probably be diagnosed as agoraphobic.

This is my favorite poem by Emily Dickinson.

I’m Nobody

I’m nobody!  Who are you?

Are you nobody too?

Then There’s a pair of us – don’t tell!

They’d banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!

How public like a frog

To tell you name the live long day

To an admiring bog!
