Forever Dog – Forever Home

Joey is 8 or 9 years old, because of his size he is considered geriatric.  When I look in his eyes, I can see the age.  Joey suffers from arthritis, is more prone to getting sick, requires more trips to the vet than he did as a younger dog, and sleeps twice as much as our other dogs.

Physically the years are taking a toll on Joey; however, he still has that awesome playful and loving personality that made him so popular at the dog park.

When I see post about a senior dog being abandoned at a shelter, it breaks my heart.  I brought Joey home almost 6 years ago and I made a promise to him that day.   I promised to take care of him and give him a home for the rest of his life.  Joey loves me and he trusts me to do just that.

Joey is a forever dog and this is his forever home.
