The Ave Maria Grotto is located in Cullman, Alabama.  It contains an exhibit of approximately 125 miniature replicas of biblical structures and famous buildings, which were created by Brother Joseph Zoettl.

Brother Joseph Zoettl was a monk at the St Bernard Abbey until his death in 1961.  During his free time he would create miniature buildings with stone, concrete, broken plates, costume jewelry, tile, bead, marbles, seashells, and any other material he could find.

I am impressed with his work and I think the intricate details of each piece is amazing.  I have visited this place several times and will probably go back again.
