  1. I enjoyed this musical group. I was born in Nottingham and at age 17 moved to live in London…..there I found I spoke not only with a Nottingham dialect, but too quickly for some of my office colleagues….so I then learned to speak slowly, and it worked, till I shared a flat (apt) with 4 flat mates of London, Australia, America and Canada…..needless to say I suddenly became mistaken as someone from afar. Since emigrating to Vancouver in 1975 it seems I have a distinctly British accent with a little mix of Nottingham that comes out when others notice it and I have to interpret what I just said…..as in ey up m’duk…….rough translation Hello my dear how are you:)
