This title of this book (Appreciating Nature’s Small Stuff) explains the purpose and main point of the book. According to the author,
The best thing about everyday wildlife is the unexpected. It’s pretty neat to get so buzzed about nature’s little wonders and gems. It is life affirming and good for the soul; reaching out and connecting with nature with enthusiasm, from that deep place inside you that is the same deep place in nature.
I really enjoyed reading this book and it help me gain a better appreciation for the little things in nature that surround me.
Today, I completed the Double Helix Dash 5k charity race. This was my third race and it was the first time I didn’t come in last place. I am supper happy about that.
I really appreciate my mom coming out to support me. It’s nice to have someone wish you good luck at the starting line and have them congratulate you when you cross the finish line. It means a lot to know she loves me and cares enough to be at the races.
As of today, I can blink my left eye. It still takes a bit of effort, but I can do it. I am really excited about this, because I will not have to tape my eyelid closed anymore.
I have not gained control of the left side of my mouth yet. However, I do occasionally feel my muscles twitch around my lips and nose. That is also a good sign.
I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, well wishes, and positive thoughts. You guys have really helped keep my spirits up during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you.
