As of today, I can blink my left eye. It still takes a bit of effort, but I can do it. I am really excited about this, because I will not have to tape my eyelid closed anymore.
I have not gained control of the left side of my mouth yet. However, I do occasionally feel my muscles twitch around my lips and nose. That is also a good sign.
I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, well wishes, and positive thoughts. You guys have really helped keep my spirits up during this difficult time. I appreciate all of you.
Snot is flowing
Think, green, and disgusting
Down the throat rolling
Now you are gagging
While you are hacking
Your nose you keep blowing
Until it’s blistering
It seems never ending
Affliction Z is about a team of Navy Seals sent to Nigeria on a rescue mission. They enter an underground laboratory that was conducting research on biological warfare and attempt to locate survivors. However, they encounter hoards of people that are infected with the Z virus. The virus causes the afflicted to be extremely aggressive and impervious to pain.
This book is interesting and I like that the author provides a reasonable explanation for the beginning of the zombie apocalypse.
The story changes perspectives rather frequently, so you have to pay attention or you will end up lost and confused.
I give the book a B+
My mom has been sick for a week. Last night, I took her to the ER and she was admitted to the hospital. She is a very sick woman.
My niece is also sick. She is congested, coughing, fatigued and nauseous. Poor Gwen has to stay home from school today, because of her illness.
I decided to post a sign on our door to warn people that this house is full of biological contaminates.
I am very grateful for Jennifer Miller. She is working hard to get this place cleaned for us. I really needed her help this week.
