It’s 20 something degrees outside, and I am not prepared for this extreme weather.
I am used to temperatures that are around the triple digits. I can handle that just fine. However, this is ridicules. We need to close everything down, because I should not be forced to go outside in this weather.
Ben loves playing and rolling around in the snow. Ben is a Great Pyrenees, so he was made for this weather. His undercoat is thick and looks more like wool than fur. The top layer of Ben’s fur is also thick, long, and wavy.
Ben seems completely unfazed by the cold, and has spent a lot more time than normal running around the yard.
That’s right, it’s snowing in Alabama. Most of my dogs are enjoying the snow; however, poor little Norton is not enthused.
There is a snow emergency in Huntsville, Alabama. We have actual snow on the ground, so everything is closed and people are rushing to buy emergency supplies at the store.
There is one thing I don’t understand. Why does everyone stock up on bread, milk, and eggs? If we do end up losing power and have to spend the next few days at home, I would rather have chips, cookies, soda, and other fun things to eat.
That’s my opinion on the matter….
We took the boys outside to play in the snow. Most of them had a great time, but Norton just wanted to do his business and go back to the house. Joey, Blue, Ben, and Buddy stayed outside to play and eat the snow.
All the dogs are back inside and ready for a nap.
